全宇宙から集まったエリート達の前で行ったスピーチ。今までは僕の話をしていた。今回はその話をまとめて、冒頭で紹介したテーマに移る。そのテーマ覚えている？なんか、21世紀どうのこうのだったよね。僕も覚えていない。まあ、読めばわかるか・・・・
Back to the point. I’ve been here 14 years, have a Japanese wife and a 10 month old baby. When work is slow I get to spend lots of time with him. Then I go back to working on national television and realize that it’s really just not as fulfilling as spending time with my baby…And I define fulfillment as the opportunity to interact directly with another person’s bodily fluids…
So, family is good, work is good. So what if I’m squandering my education! I’m happy and successful and don’t need your approval, thank you very much.
So that’s me. And now I’d like to address the question of the evening, how can Harvard position itself to maintain and enhance its position as the world’s premier scholastic institution into the 21st century and beyond? My answer is…I don’t know.
