前回は日本に来たばかりの僕が感じた、日本の魅力。
今回はどうじに受けたショック。

I was however, somewhat shocked by this countries more prurient excesses. Love Hotels, for example. Shocking! Facilities devoted to carnal gratification! We don’t have those in America, except for Congress. Coming from a conservative Colorado upbringing, I was just appalled. In Colorado we believe sex should only happen where God intended it, in the back of your mom’s minivan.
So, anyway, plastic food, love hotels, I immediately fell in love with the country. I got a job in Fukui Prefecture as an English teacher, and after a couple of years moved to Tokyo to become an actor on Japanese TV, because once again, what else are you going to do with a degree in Comparative Religion?
