It has to something do with water in Arkansas, but we might have another president from the State. Hilary Clinton and Mike Huckerbee are doing great in the both Democrats and Republican. My wife and I have met both of them as well as President Clinton. President Clinton has something very special around him all the time. I met him only a few times, but he remembered my name....well, I must admit "SUZUKI" is easy to remember...but still recognizing face and name is not that easy thing to do.

New Years Eve...we went to Bougnar's. To be honest we were not sure if we could, even though we wanted, but we were so glad that we went to see the friends and enjoyed courting down to 2008. Hana fell asleep at 7pm and we left the house at 8pm. She was just sleeping all the time while we were there. Again she got some gifts. One K-State T-shirt from Doubrava's and a lot of books from Hunters. All of them are very nice and they have a great family.

New Years day...we went to Travis's and watched the Razorback football game against Missouri...and it was bad and bad game. Arkansas lost so badly that nobody is talking about it.

I still cannot get used to this custom, the custom that I have to come back to the office on January 2nd. Things are pretty slow here anyway, I might just take first 5 days off next year. And I am planning to take last 5 days off before Christmas as well.

Of course Hana got a lot of presents. The bigest one, and probably the most expensive one, is a walker. She likes it from the first time she tried, and still she enjoyed being in that circle toy. She got pushing car/stroller, and things from Japan, and hand-knitted orange sweater and a book from Ciatici. She also got some Otoshidama, new years money gifts, from a few relatives in Japan. She is very fortunate.

Christmas eve...we decorate our 8 feet giant Christmas tree. Yes, this tree is huge. According to Tomic's tradition, Antonela's family tradition, we got a tree on Christmas eve and decorated it. Good thing about doing this is that we can find fairly inexpensive tree in good condition. Indeed this giant and good looking tree cost me only $5 at Lowe's. Yes, amazing price for that size. Last year we got 6-feet-tree and it cost, I believe, $15.

Christmas holiday had a lot of fun. Paticulary spending so much time with Hana and Antonela was a lot of fun. And it made me realized that it is not that easy to be around the baby all the time. She needs more attention than I thought, and all of the things she wants are time consuming.

Yes, it is 2008! Time flies to fast and sometimes it is hard to see what is going on around the world. Today is the day for Iowa caucus. Huckerbee is doing much better than expected earlier in the campaign, and Hilary is struggling against Obama and Edwards.
