アメリカでは赤ちゃんの部屋？というか、子供部屋を生まれる前に用意するらしい・・・。
というわけで、今日は部屋を淡い緑に塗りました。
からっぽの部屋が用意できたら、
今度はアントネラの女友達が必要なものを色々と集めてきてくれるらしい・・・。
（これは便利。）
ちなみにBABYシャワーという行事らしく、
アントネラが欲しいもの・必要だと思うものをデパートなどに登録して
BABYシャワーのPARTYの時にみんなが持ってきてくれるんだとか・・・。
アントネラのバレーボールコーチ仲間のキャレンがかなり張り切ってくれているらしく、
５０人くらいの女性がPARTYにやってきてくれるそうで、楽しみ・・・。
ただ、旦那は招待されないだとか・・・。

Yes, this is a delivery room.
The room looks very different from what it is in Japan....
(I am just guessing as I have never seen one.)
It has nice sofa...shower room, big TV, coffee maker....
Just look like a regular hotel room.

ARTICLE V DOGS

Sec. 4-117. Barking and howling dogs.
It shall be unlawful for any person to keep on his premises or under his control any dog which by
loud and frequent barking or howling shall disturb the peace and quiet of any person who may
reside within reasonable proximity of a place where such dog is kept. When the keeper of such a
dog is convicted of violating the provisions of this section, such dog shall be seized and
impounded under the provisions of this chapter.

Sec. 16-41. Prohibited generally.
The creating of any unreasonably loud, disturbing and unnecessary noise within the limits of the
city, including noise of such character, intensity or duration as to be detrimental to the life,
health or safety of any individual, or in disturbance of the public peace and welfare is prohibited.

Sec. 16-42. Penalty.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall
be punished as set forth in section 1-9 of this Code.

Sec. 1-9. Penalty for violations.
(a) In this section "violation of this Code" means:
(1) Doing an act that is prohibited or made or declared unlawful, an offense or a misdemeanor
by ordinance or by rule or regulation authorized by ordinance.
(2) Failure to perform an act that is required to be performed by ordinance or by rule or
regulation authorized by ordinance.
(3) Failure to perform an act if the failure is declared a misdemeanor or an offense or unlawful by ordinance or by rule or regulation authorized by ordinance.
(b) In this section "violation of this Code" does not include the failure of a city officer or city
employee to perform an official duty unless it is provided that failure to perform the duty is to be
punished as provided in this section.

(c) Except as otherwise provided, a person convicted of a violation of this Code shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00), or double such sum for each repetition thereof. If the violation is, in its nature, continuous in respect to time, the penalty for allowing the
continuance thereof is a fine not to exceed two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) for each day that
the same is unlawfully continued.

Dear Neighbor at 1001 TRENTON Dr.

We live in the house right behind yours. There's something we need to bring up, and we are at a
loss as to how to do so correctly. We decided writing to you would be the kindest, most honest
way to approach the situation and we hope you understand. It's about your dog.

We love dogs and understand a certain amount of barking is normal. For last a few weeks, however, we've gotten the impression your dog barks incessantly for most of the day. The situation is made worse by the close placement of our homes. We've frequently been awoken before 3:30 in the
morning by your dog's barking, and we find it difficult to work or relax at home because of the
constant noise.

We need your help in resolving this problem and we're hoping that bringing it to your attention will
be the first step to a mutually acceptable resolution. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you'd
like to discuss this or if there's anything we can do to help.

For your information, we attached the Fort Smith City Code on animal control. I hope this
information will help you to solve the situation, and help you to understand how serious we are.
