Ikea, Outlet Shopping Mall and Friends from Bosnia
It is 6:54am and we are in Dallas. We drove down from Fort Smith last night after Antonela’s
volleyball meeting in Van Buren. It should take about 5 hours by MapQuest, but we made it in about 4 hours. (I guess I drove much faster than I should have.)
Shopping at the Allen Outlet Mall was great. Antonela got two pairs of shoes (one from PUMA and
one from Kenneth Cole), one green nice T-shirt from Banana Republic, and one soft T-shirt from J. Crew. I got two ties from J-Crew, and one pair of shoes from PUMA. All of these cost about $200. It was very good shopping, I must say. Oh by the way, Antonela found cute pink shoes from NIKE
for kids. It was $15 + tax. We decided to send this shoes to Mei, Shouhei’s baby, if we found out
we do not have a girl on Monday.
The main shopping will be done today at IKEA. We are planning to buy two bed frames, one for us,
and one for our guest room, a few ramps, one dining table, maybe a few paintings, and some
shelves. Since we moved to our new house, we did not have time (& money) to buy things for the
house, and these shopping lists at IKEA will look our house better or homey with Antonela and
Takeo’s color.
