Reconstitute hijiki with a pint of water; save water.
Fry 1/2 t turmeric in 3 T olive oil.
Add 2 medium onions, chopped into 1/2" squares.
Fry a few minutes. Add 2 oz sliced garlic cloves, 4 oz minced ginger, 8g salt
When onions are translucent add
450g soaked drained hijiki
and 2 oz apple juice.
Add the water from the hijiki. Boil 10 minutes. Add soy sauce.
