The Jokes in English website has many funny jokes written in easy English. You can read the jokes and hear them in mp3s. Here is an example: John Says I'm Pretty

Peter: I think you are pretty ugly.

Note: Insulting someone is often considered funny, especially when that person wants a complement.

Note: pretty ugly = very ugly

Jokes can be a fun way to practice English! Try them!
